So many things interest me. Below are just a few...

Music

By far, Radio U is the best radio station I have ever heard. Located in Columbus, Oh, Radio U boldly proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ. Visit their website now and you can watch TV-U! (RadioU with pictures)

I also enjoy making music. Performance wise, I am strictly a vocalist since I made the huge mistake of stopping my piano lessons when I was a kid. I have been a part of many choirs, both in high school and college. I don't do much solo work, but the little that I have done I have enjoyed. I really enjoy participating in smaller groups. I have been a part of several music and drama ministry teams for my church. In fact, I just finished being a part of Rosedale Bible Institute's Salt & Light Co. - a six member music and drama ministry team.

I have many friends who are also musicians. Several have recorded with Broken Records, the home of independent Christian music. I want to put in a special plug for all of my friends in the Smouldering Wicks with their album The New Gunpowder. I also want to give a plug for Messiah College's Powerhouse band and their new album.

In Spring 2002, I had the chance to be a "security dude" for a Reliant K concert put on by SED Productions. Didn't have to throw anybody out -- but I almost did.

And finally, a place on the net to buy all of the hard to find Christian music -- Check it out!

Sports

Go Phillies!!! If you are like my father, you will want to stay up on the latest Philles "news" at the philly.com bulletin board.

Even though I am now living in Berks County, I still know who the greatest team in college footbal really is - go Penn State!!! Acutally, I am more of a PSU men's basketball fan than I am a football fan.

Investing

Debt Free In 2003!!! That is my new goal. Thanks to Dave Ramsey for helping motivate me. Check out his site, and listen to one of his archived broadcasts. The Friday shows are the best, but they are all really good. I agree with most of what he says. He doesn't feel the average person should own stocks, but I do. Click for an update...

Now that I am finally out of school, I have more time (and money) on my hands to put to work for me in the form of investments. I've always been fascinated about finding ways to make my money grow -- others just say I am tight with my money. I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Everybody knows that interest rates are very low right now, so I am turning to stocks. The stock market has been beaten down the past couple of years or so -- great time to buy!

My father introduced me to Dividend Reinvestment Plans which are a great way to start investing. So, I have now started to build my portfolio. My goal is to put together a portfolio of 10-15 stocks that will outperform my father's portfolio. Isn't that nice of me? If you want to learn more about DRIP's, you can visit the Money Paper website.

Another really fun website for investing is the Motley Fool. The site is jammed with really good information that is presented in an easy to understand, fun way! They drive in the fact that patience is a key to sound investing. The type of patience that day traders would think to be "foolish". Their goal is to help you become a "foolish" investor.

I thought I had a link to this before, but I guess I didn't. George Smyth's site, DRipInvesting.org is a great site for learning a lot of things about DRiPs.

I have found Yahoo! Finance to be a wealth of investing information. I am now visiting this website on an almost daily basis to help me with my stock valuations.

Some of the companies that I own in my Scottrade account are:
