• Friendly' Peg Game Problem was the topic for a talk entitled Doing Math While Waiting for an Ice Cream Sundae, which I presented at the November 20, 1996, student mathematics conference at Shippensburg University. In addition, a paper based on my talk is available in Technical Report #97-2 published on January 24, 1977, by Shippensburg's Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, edited by Doug Ensley and Gene Fiorini. • Car Buyer was a piece of software that I wrote in MS Visual C++ as a final project in my Math Modeling class. The problem dealt with the question of which is the cheaper option when one needs to choose between a money back and a low interest rate offer for the purchase of a new vehicle.
